I recently signed up my ever growing online business to hosting company to provide us with server hosting dedicated only to us, and have been reaping the benefits ever since.
We were suffering with a bit of lag time on our old server set-up, and the freedom of our own dedicated server has sped up the process hugely. Our server doesn't have to cope with anyone else's stuff shared on it, it's just our stuff, so we are in full control of everything - it's great.
We have a great disaster recovery plan in place, something we were scrimping on a bit in the past, so if for any reason there is a problem we will be able to stay online and operate while the server providers sort out the problems - though I'm assured this is a very, very rare occurrence. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with a blooming e-business!
